Re: Athletic Training Services at Suffolk University

Welcome to Suffolk University! I look forward to welcoming you and your teams to our campus for your upcoming sports competitions. As you are aware, Suffolk has several off-campus venues for our athletic teams. As a result, there will be limits on available services for our visiting teams.

There will be a licensed, certified athletic trainer available at all competitions, usually one-half hour prior to the start of the contest. Modalities will not be available at competition sites that are located off-campus. All sites will have water, cups and ice available. On-campus events (basketball, volleyball) will have access to modalities- please notify me in advance or provide a written note from your ATC or Team Physician.
Suffolk will tape and wrap your athletes- please have your teams provide necessary supplies. Call or e-mail me with special requests.

All Suffolk University teams will usually travel without an ATC; however, they will travel with a stocked medical kit with emergency numbers/information inside (don’t let the teams forget to take their kits home!)- thanks for taking care of my athletes, and please call me if an athlete is injured!

Thanks for your help and assistance-call me if you plan of coming with your team. Good luck with your season!
