GNAC Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Year

Freshman Lesley Hayden (Ross, CA) was voted GNAC Rookie of the Year by the conference coaches fopr 2008. Hayden was also named to the 2nd All-Conference team, and was selected to the All-Sportsmanship team. The freshman forward had 17 goals on the season, ranking her second in the conference. In 14 games, Hayden amassed 37 points, third best in the GNAC.  Hayden averaged  2.64 points per gamem, the best in the GNAC.  She had five multi-goal games on the season, and two game-winning goals.
